In-person tutoring terms & conditions
Thank you for choosing to sign up to in-person tutoring session with me. I'm excited to share my knowledge and isights to creating one of a kind Jesmonite pieces using various techniques and materials.
Each session will include theory and practical aplication elements. Please read the below T&C's to ensure you have a full understaing of the session's booking terms.
About the session
My 1-2-1 Jesmonite tutoring sessions are hands-on, practical workshops covering Jesmonite techniques and application. Sessions are tailored to your level and goals, whether you're a beginner or looking to develop existing skills. Sessions are available in durations of 1–7 hours and take place either at my location or on occassion, if agreed upfront at yours.
Booking & Payment
All sessions are booked online via the STUDIO82 website. A non-refundable £50 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session. The remaining balance is due 10 days before your session date and will be collected automatically using the payment method you've proivded at the check out.

Non-Refundable Deposit
Your deposit is strictly non-refundable. This ensures the first hour of my time is covered and covers my loss of another booking for that day. By completing your booking you agree that the deposit payment cannot be returned under any circumstances, including cancellation by the client.
Cancellations by Client
f you need to cancel your session, please notify me as soon as possible. In the event of late cancellation with less than 2 days' notice, a 50% of the remaining balance (after deposit) will be charged. I recommend to note the dates in your calendar and get in touch as soon as possible to avoid the fee loss due to unforeseen circumstances.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule your session, free of charge, provided you give at least 5 days' notice. Rescheduling requests made within 5 days of the session are subject to availability and may not always be possible immediately. An alternative date will be offered as soon as possible.
Cancellations by STUDIO82
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel your session, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook on an alternative date at no extra charge and with a priority over other bookings.
Business Clients & Public Liability Insurance
If you are booking in your own venue, as a business or intend to use skills learned in a commercial capacity, you are required to hold valid Public Liability Insurance prior to your session. I reserve the right to request proof of insurance before confirming your booking.
Location
For sessions take place in person, if your session is at your home studio, you are responsible for ensuring the space is insured, safe, suitable, and adequately ventilated for working with Jesmonite or hot wax. The address provided at booking will be used for the session.
What to Bring
For sessions in my location I will provide the meaterials to work with. For sessions in your location a full details of what to prepare will be sent to you via email after booking.
Confidentiality
The content, techniques, and materials shared during your tutoring session are proprietary to STUDIO82 and are intended for your personal use only. You agree not to share, teach, or distribute the methods, processes, or materials covered in your session — whether online, in communities, forums, social media, or in any other format — without prior written consent from STUDIO82. This includes but is not limited to video recordings, written notes shared publicly, and replication of session content for commercial teaching purposes. Any breach in these term can be pursued on the grounds of intellectual property law.

We accept no responsibility for how you apply, maintain, or use the knowledge, techniques, or materials shared during your session — including the care and safety information you choose to provide to your own clients.
Failure to follow safety and best practice instructions may result in reduced product lifespan, heat or design damage, fire hazards, or personal harm. You are responsible for working safely during your session, using finished items appropriately, and ensuring any products you sell meet the relevant safety standards.
